Fall Fashion Trends For Women over 50

Get ready to step up your game There are plenty of trends that we can get excited about for fall 2022.

I don't believe in age appropriate dressing. By the way who came out with that! I feel you should wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. It's up to you to define your own style. With that said as I looked at Fall/Winter fashions several trends stood out to me and I would like to share some of my picks. Many of the trends seem to define something fresh and new for fall 2022. Retro fashion is back and there are more grown-up and sophisticated pieces such as long skirts, and midi dresses. The oversized wide shoulder jackets and blazers seems to be all the rage. Another dominant trend on the horizon is the classic wide leg trouser which now are back in a big way. My last pick is the Sports Luxe Trend which also is a key part of Fall 2022 fashion trends.

I’m a fan of matching sets like a black wide leg pant suit for a more professional look or laid back chic like the wide leg pant with a turtleneck. The sports luxe trend allows you the opportunity to re-invent your wardrobe, and add a contemporary spin to your personal style.“ The grown-up track jacket. Look for colored piping details, logos and knitted fabrics Side stripes in whether they appear down the leg of a trouser or, the sleeve of a jacket striped detailing is a great way to give a subtle nod to the Sports Luxe trend. When choosing your trackpants look for silk or twill fabrics. Throw on a heel and you got the look. If sophistication is your style then a camel coat or camel cashmere sweater will really upscale your look.
